Is There a Problem With My Electric windows

Hi Guys.

I was hoping someone can let me know if i have a problem with my electric windows.

What happens is that when i press the windows to go down for the passenger windows they go down with one click. When i try the drivers window i have to hold it till it goes down to the bottom.

Is this correct, or is there a problem with the drivers window button.

Cheers.

HI SHERRY,  it may just need resetting, push the button till the window reaches the bottom, continue pushing it for about 5 seconds. release it,  then push the button til the window is fully closed hold for 5 seconds . hopefully your drivers window will then go up and down with one touch.

its not normal, your drivers window should go up and down with 1 touch, so i guess there is a fault somewhere. unfortunately other than the reset procedure i dont know what else to suggest. hopefully some of the brainboxes will be able to help you, so keep looking.

hi there

are your memory seats working (if fitted)?

or try the ccm test. see the fault finder section, electrical systems fail to work.

hi scorpio man

the guy i bought it from says the memory seats are not wired up but they could be. he got the leather seats fitted but didn't get the memory for the seats wired.

would this be the reason why the drivers window one press function doesn't work?
