I have just taken delivery of an N reg cossie to break for spares and it has a 7000 radio and cd changer. Are the wire connectors to the back of the head unit the same as my 2007 unit?

No. These are not a compatable swap. The main issue here is that the 2007 uses a separate amplifier and the 7000 has the amp built in. Some people have managed to do the conversion, but it means swapping out quite a large section of the loom and its probably a lot more work than its worth. There is a section somewhere on this forim that explains how to do it.. The CD changer however will work with both head units without and alterations. Hope this helps a bit Ian
