could anyone tell me if there are any vent/drainage holes in the scorpio sills .I have a pair on order from FMD because I think its easier to replace the panel than putting on patches .I have been having a look underneath and it seems to me that the original sills are spot welded on every inch or so ,not seem welded .Or have my sills been replaced before ?Some one told me repacement panels must be seem welded all the way around not spotted as they were in the past . Any info would be a bonus before I embark on this DIY project . thanks in advance David

Yep, drain holes every 18 inches or so, at the weld seam. I usually poke them with a narrow knife or similar to keep them clear.

As a panel beater i always spot weld whenever possable. It's perfectly acceptable for an mot and looks much nicer and gives a more proffesional factory looking result. When it comes down to it, It depends on prefferance and what equipment you have available to you. Hope this helps, Simon
