Help! my fuse 14 keeps blowing out! I first notised it when i wanted to turn on my flashing lights. They didn't work. replace the fuse and it was ok. later that day again 14 out! after 10 blowen out fuses i understand if i put it in reverse its blows i thing it got something to do with the power mirror when it turns downwards to see the pavement for parking the car. I really don't know where to search...... Cry buy the way my remote control doesn't work eigther but it could be a coincidence that the battery is dead. Tomorrow i am going to get 2 new batt.

As it covers the rear lights etc have you checked for water in the units. There is a known problem of water getting into the units if the lens is cracked or the seal is perished.

also check the wiring loom at the boot hinges and where it passes up over the wheel arch under the rear seat, these are known places where the wires can chaff.

If you hear the fuse pop when selecting reverse, check the door loom or try disconnecting the mirror multiplug from inside the door

On paper i found a connector p8. This must contain the backup ligts. I think it must be under the dash passeger side. Also i read about a connector somewhere under the car i geusse in the neighborehood of the gear box this must be from the switch. Go and take a look now
