Running on Super Unleaded

Does anyone know what super unleaded can do to your car as I have heard rumors about it possibly destroying the cats.. I must admit I have been running mine on super now for about 2 months and have found a massive improvment in mpg (From 19mpg to 25.5mpg as of today) and the car seems to be more responsive to. hi there i use v-power in my honda and get an extra 5mpg (37mpg). not heard of doing any damage, though.

I personally use Shelll V power get more MPG and the engine does feel more responsive. Do sometimes use super market 99 octane but does NOT seem to have the same effect as the better brands ... MOst likely down to the additives etc....

try avgas ! 100 octaine and full of cat destroying lead. great for the engine though .
