Tune up parts for a 24v Cosworth

Evening all. I'm about to buy a 24v Cosworth. I'll be giving it a full service when I get is and I already have the oil, filter, spark plugs (proper Platinum ones) and plug leads. As the air filter will be changed, are there any after market cone filters avails (i.e. Pipercross) - the only ones I can see are for the 90-94 BOA engines. I've found that Superchips do a plug in chip for the engines. Planning on a cat back stainless exhaust system. 17" wheels are coming off the Westfield and onto the Scorpio. If someone could provide any url's to tune up parts, I'd be most grateful.

Hello there and welcome Some of the members have fitted K&N filters to the 24v, as for the Superchip thing, are you sure it fits the BOB 24v, this has been talked about on a few occasions and they usually turn out to be for a BOA 24v Stuart

| Yep - blurb from my Superchips catalogue:- Ford Scorpio 1995 - 1999 Engine type : Non-Turbo Petrol Engine size : 2935 cm3 Cylinders : 6 Original bhp : 204 Original nm : 281 BHP increase : 10 Price* : £299.00 As for the K+N - I can't find anything listed. Only aftermarket airfilter I have found is the VERY expensive Pipercross Viper kit @ £250

Seems to be the right one but pricey for only another 10 BHP Fit a higher ratio Diff I've fitted a 4.27 to mine instead of the standard 3.64 improved the 0-60 acceleration from 7.9 secs to 6
