Pictures, Diagrams and Locations Index

Hi,
Bit random this... but still...
... wondering what this (a n other particular) site is about... I am not sure if it is related to this one or not...
.. I understand linking is not allowed so I will try to be as sensitive or appropriate in referencing it (as possible, etc.). I have seen other users post links to reference documents, etc. here.... it is an anyboard site.. /autos/cars/scorpio/posts/20.html for example.
Generally, as a fanciful, dream type notion, it would be great to have a comprehensive index of linked pictures, diagrams and locations for different bits... This is one thing that seems to be a bit difficult even with the Ford Diagrams... and nothing beats a Ford Diagram, real world picture, and amended or custom made diagrams showing interlinkings, etc.
Further, sadly some of the off site picture hosting services pictures seem to disappear? Is their any particular rhyme to this... e.g. insufficient viewings over x period then autodelete or what happens? Shame to lose nice pictures linked to on here... but many are retained / retain, etc. so all good  .

Sorry if I've got the wrong end of the stick here...... 
It could be that alot of pictures are in someones folders in, for example....'photobucket.com', & the account is no longer up & running ?....hence no links to pictures.
Is this what you mean ?

Thanks. Yes... that is what I meant.. and I am sure you must be right. Shame.. I thought that some of these picture hosting services offered free "lifetime" hosting. Perhaps that means lifetime of the account.. and if someone deletes it (perhaps not realising or remembering what other pictures they had in their, linked to from other sites, etc.) then it is good bye .

P.s. Meant to add... on the other thing in my original post... generally an index of all this stuff (all the diagrams, pictures, etc.) by part or area of the vehicle it would be mighty nice / cool  .
