This may be useful for anyone who has a bad fan speed control on the cc module which results in the temp displays jumping around. Ive done this twice on different scorpios and was successful. the fan speed potentiometer gets constant handling so goes a bit noisy over the years. It can be swapped for the other potentiometer which does the zone switching and is going to be in good order. BUT you have to be sure you are confident in removing the cc unit..WARNING easy to damage facia . if you can remove and know how to use an iron and solder sucker remove both pots and swap/reverse as they are same value. Removing pcb is easy just x4 tabs hold in place. Thought might be of some use to pass on BUTdont attempt if you arent aware of the difficulty of removing cc unit as damaging facia is easily done if you dont know how to get out. rgds John
