Evening dan.The ONLY company i would trust for re maps is superchips. They arent the cheapest (Around £270),but that said you are guarenteed results.Had my 12v done & it is far more responsive, especially around the 2000-5000 rpm mark. There are cheaper alternative companies but as the old saying goes....You only get what you pay for.

Had mine done at Motorsport Developments which are a 5min walk from where i live.

Chipped my Cossie and had it rolling roaded before and after - 209bhp before - 226bhp after - so actually made a little more than they quoted in the end - I do have an uprated panel filter and brand new plugs/leads and a stainles cat back exhaust system as well though.

20bhp gain is about right for a cossie's remap chip, the 24v lump it already pretty well tuned,

if you want to up the acceleration a bit, consider fitting the 2.0l diff (you'll also need to fit the 2.0l VSS)

having it de-cat'd will also help it breath and give you more power

cheers Mat the cat's are out, I fitted a fancy induction system also. I hope I am already at 220 bhp the 2L diff is a sweet idea . it is an estate but I can 0-60 at 8.5 at the moment, I would love to rolling road test her.

I have the 2 litre 4.27 diff fitted, 0-60 around the 6 second mark but dont use it on the motorway for a long journey or you'll need to plan the route around petrol stations Wink

I like the idea of fitting a 2.0l diff.Any idea if this will work on a 12vHuhDoes it really lift the revs in top gear Huh currently my 12v is around 2750 rpm @ 70 mph,& going from memory my old 2.0l was about 3200 rpm at the same speed.Cheers ...Craig Smiley
