Hi ! Help me ! My car is Ford Scorpio 2.3i 16V -96 manual trans. import to finland. I'm switching the Clutch Disc and Pressure Plate and I'm trying to do this without removin the front part of exhaust pipe and catalysator. There is quite limited workspace and I can't see any bracket or adaptor plate: http://www.fordscorpio.co.uk/manual/manualtrans/MT75DOHC8V.pdf page 6 ( 22. Detach the bracket from the cylinder block. 23. Release the adaptor plate. What is this ? Do I have this adaptor plate ? I think the trans.box is not the MT75. Is this part still holdin the box ? Am I doing this wrong ? Should I remove the catalysator anyhow ? ps. I noticed, that there was one extra bolt right/midle which was not mentioned in the Ford Workshop Manual. Thank you beforehand ! | Could be that the article refers to (Remove and Install (2,0 DOHC 8V Engine)) I recently did my propshaft bearing and found that the references were totally different on the 2.3 the propshaft on the 2.3 manual is in three sections with 2 bearings.... hth pete
