remote key fob?

just wondering im currently bidding on a remote key fob on ebay, its for my cosworth, does the remote have to be from a cosworth or will any scorpio one do, as in the ad it just says ford scorpio remote.

Any remote for a scorpio will do, you will have to programe it for the car.

There are a few on Ebay at the moment, but don't go wasting your money buying the 'programming info' - it is free for the asking on this site 
Rather than getting involved with the bidding on the Ebay site and the bidding wars, I just use some software which places my bid right at the end of the auction - bids just enough to win the item, up to my set maximum.
You can tie or group several identical item auctions together, such as several remotes from various venders, so it ends the bidding on all - once one of them has been won. It's a little quirky, but does the job perfectly.
