Hi guys I need help! Does anyone know how to take off the gear knob? As I will be replacing the leather gaiter. Hope you can help Thanks

Marc, You don't need to take the gear knob off unless you are replacing it. To remove the gaiter you GENTLY prise up the 'walnut' trim piece complete with gaiter attached. Turn it inside out so that you can see the underside of the 'draw string' round the gear lever. You will probably find a cable tie or similar holding the neck together. Snip that and the unit opens up and llifts off. To replace all you have to do is fit it over the gear lever,turn inside out, replace the tie or whatever and pull it up tight again.
