Heater motor not working

Could not control my heater motor as it was on maximum all the time. Now it won't work at all. Fuse 29 ok. Varable resistance to HBC module by turning fan speed switch. Could it be the HBC module at fault? or likely to be faulty motor/brushes? Any help please. Regards

The details of how to test the HBC are HERE. If you do not have Climate Control but Air Con THIS may help. On the same page there is a 'button' on the left marked HBC fan repair. Have a look at that. People have just accessed the motor through the top once the HBC has been removed, sprayed it liberally with WD 40 and solved the problem. It's a process of elimination depending on the model etc.

Thanks for the replies. I will try the WD40 then go for the HBC.
