Hi everyone, nice site you have here. abit of background first - ive grown up with fords from my first 957cc festa up to my v6 sierra and my friends long list of grannys from mk2 to mk3. the one thing i never did was get round to having one of those cossie engines under the hood but since then ive been hooked on big americans - firebirds transams camaros 1970 chevelle dodge ram and the like. my current project requires an engine, its a GM but since its american cheap blocks and stuff are hard to come by, also im not a massive fan of GM engines. im now thinking of putting in the 24v coss engine - the GM freaks cant really fret as it will be labbelled as cosworth and not ford ! thats my excuse for being able to use it anyhow ! i would like to know a few things about the engine, general dimensions for a kick off would help alot width - with heads and length please. i also would like to know what basic sensors the management needs to run the engine - forgetting any emmisions stuff as this will not be required as the car is pre 92. i havnt decided yet wether to use the ford auto box or my gm manual yet ? how long is the auto box? how far from the back of the engine are the engine mounts? you get the idea, all help is very much appreciated - and i appologize to anyone who is not happy about this not being directly ford related. thanks anthony
