Estate rear shocker bushes

Does anyone know if the bottom bushes on the estate self levelling rear shocks are replaceable ?
The bush has gone & the shock knocks against the wishbone when going over bumps  ....I've managed to bodge it up by putting half a dozen cable ties either side of the bush to stop the shock moving sideways & it seems to have worked for the time being

no, they're not available. 
i've heard that the sierra estate had the same bottom mount, but can't confirm this.
our ones need a new shocker at £210 each side! 
if the sierra one has the same bush and can be pressed out/in, they should be a LOT cheaper...maybe £40 each.

Thanks Andy for confirming what I suspected  .....
......So I've just bought (an hour ago) a pair of used estate self levellers off Ebay for £25 inc postage. Hopefully they will both be okay, or at least just one of them .........

If the bottom bush mount is the conventional cotton reel style bush, then rally design can have custom polyurethane bushes made to suit if you supply dimensions
Wont be massively cheap, but nowhere near a set of new self levelers.
If i may - a quick thread hijack ? (but relevant )
Im considering a 24V estate for myself, but im put off by the cost of the self leveling suspension - is it possible to replace these units entirely with conventional non leveling units ?

no, i don't think so.
well, saying that, you could change the rear wishbones and shocks/springs for the saloon ones. no idea if it would work but that's the only way i can think of. not sure how it would handle after that. 
i'd cost in the price of new shocks (£210 each) into the price of an estate. the car's at the age that these thing will need replaced sooner that later.

Got the pair of shocks that I bought on Ebay for £25.00 today & they seem okay
The bushes look fine & there doesn't appear to be any leakage, but one thing I'm not too sure about though......how difficult should it be to compress the shocks by hand ?
If I put them on the floor & push down, then one is quite difficult to compress & the other a little easier & both of them do return to their original position quite quickly.
Is it a case of removing the shocker from the car (which is working fine) & comparing it to one of the pair that I've bought ?

They should be quite difficult to compress, although if you fit the standard taxi driver physique then a gentle lean on them should compress them fairly easily

One I can compress right down & the other one takes a fair amount of pressure to even get it to move. So I'm assuming the first one is no good & the second one is fine ....I'm also assuming that I don't have the standard taxi driver physique 
Oh well, £25.00 for one decent shocker aint too bad I suppose

Is it possible to get them rebuilt? A few places in the UK who remanufacture shocks, might be worth a try

Might look into seeing how much they cost to refurb though ...cheers Bruce
Stuart, I suppose there must be a way of removing/replacing the bushes, but looks to be beyond my means

Hi,
my 2L 8V estate had a shot bottom bush on the rear passenger side shock. The mechanic at work looked at the setup, and instead of removing the shock as per instructions from this site, he disconnected the brake caliper, disconnected the c.v. joint from the hub, disconnected the top of the shock in the boot, let the trailing arm hang and managed to get the shock out backwards through the spring. Then I decided to drill out the bush so that the hole was round, then wrapped the cross bar with many, many tight turns of black electrical tape, sprayed it with oil, then squeezed it back into place with a vice. My mate then put the shock back on the car. It has since passed done 6000 miles and passed an N.C.T. (Irish M.O.T.).
