Scorpio Mike is the expert!!. Grin  You need to get to the underside of the jet and using a flat bladed screwdriver lever the plastic clip at the front of the jet..the side nearest the screen.. so that the unit will push upwards. You can try by CAREFULLY sliding a thin strong blade in from above the bonnet to push the clip back and at the same time lever gently upwards but make sure you protect the paintwork with masking tape or a soft cloth. They are only a push fit but awkward to get at. If they are heated units be very careful with the wire connectors. Good luck and let us know how you get on.

strebor.
Or you can move the back of the sound proofing ,and give it a careful poke with a screwdriver from underneath.

Thanks Simmo  Grin
Yes, quite a saga I had with the passenger side washer jet on my Scorpio - try as I might, the old jet was well and truly blocked - couldn't clear it with a pin or needle, ended up bending several.
New washer jet ( heated ) about £12 + the dreaded from your local FMD.
Careful when pulling off the water and wire connections - a bit delicate.
You will need to remove a few of the plastic clips holding the underbonnet soundproofing to get to the jets and connections.
Use an 8 or 10 inch flat bladed screwdriver to lever spring clip on the old jet. If you have the replacement jet to hand you will see how they fit in and the position of the plastic spring clip.

I highly recommend that you also take the opportunity to clean the washer jet filter in the tank behind the drivers side headlight. To do this, remove the drivers side foglamp / indicator and you will be able to see the washer pump - lever it out gently with a screwdriver, clean the rubber filter and replace. The filter is also part of the rubber bung / gasket the pump fits into.
Prior to cleaning, mine was so clogged it was pumping next to nothing out  Embarassed

I think the secret of clog free washer jets is to never let the  washer bottle  level get too low ,  as the pump  tends to suck up  the  gunge  lurking  at the bottom of the washer bottle.

Sheesh ,   £14.10  for a heated  washer jet. Kiss

Not bad.    I paid    £40  for two about 2 years ago. Lips Sealed
