I want to replace but just want to check how it should be installed....was it originally glued in ..how should it be installed?
..reason i ask is that the the rust issue especially around front x2 corners is due to the seal leaking......i suspect it was just a rubber to glass seal no glues and the leaks were suppose to be taken care of by the small drain holes in the metal rim at the front inside x2 corners
i lifted the seal carefully on outside and filled with vacuum grease
and then saw that when it rained water pooled in the front corners which is good,,before it just disappeared under the seal
ive found a new roof and am sort of hesitant about removing the seal any advice appreciated...
