hi, i've got a 2.9 12v granada and have found a cosworth gearbox cheap and just wonderd if it would go straight inplace of the old one or if i would have to change driveshafts or anything. i'm finding it difficult to find a automatic gearbox that is within the distance i can get to. thanks wayne.

hi there it's no good to you. the 24v (and the 16v) gearboxes are fully electronic. you need the semi-electronic one from a 12v scorpio or granada. hth

Possibly but they are like hens teeth, i've only heard of a handful of auto diesels, they had a very limited production right at the end of Scorpio production
