Hi all, I need to swap over a front bumper. Info says I need to drill out the rivets (each side near wheel arch). Never done this before - any special tools required? Thanks Paul

Front or back? front bumpers are held under the arches by two self tappers each side, plus the four large bolts under the bonnet. Rears are held with usually unmoveable torx bolts underneath and are held at the sides with push fit plastic clips on the outer side and the turn plug things on the inner wing cant think of ever seeing rivets on any of them, special tool may involve an angle grinder for the torx bolts

That's right, the only rivets I have seen are holding the little plastic spoiler on underneath. GOZZ.

Thanks lads, you're both right - the rivet is for the spoiler. Friendly mechanic says use a 1/8" bit to drill it out as it's only aluminium. Cheers Paul
