Is it possible to replace just the glass on a foglight or does the whole unit have to be swapped? Can the glass be separated from the plastic moulding? Thanks.

hi moonchalk, I did an led mod a year or two ago and I did manage to seperate the glass from the plastic body of the light, I wouldnt advise it because I smashed two out of the four I had. I found the secret was to try and cut the seal as scorpio_man says but dont try to lever it off as it will just crack. Far easier to try and get some from parts wanted on here

They pop up on ebay quite regularly and sometimes sell for as little as a fiver.
