Hi all, Hope this info might be of use to someone. On the scorpio steering rack the (spindle rod-connecting) ie. the inner ball joint with the arm which connects to the track rod end is available from Ford. Part No is: 1 029 836, cost is £38+VAT. I got one from my Friendly Motor Factor, its a Quinten Hazell part so very good quality, and it only cost £26 inc VAT. QH part No is: QR3306S. Maybe save someone a few £'s. Bikerdon

Hi, Somewhere I have a QH inner ball joint arm as you describe, still in its box. Never got to use it as I replaced the whole rack (and that was done to solve a steering problem which in the end was something else so I now have a complete used rack as well). If someone wants the spindle thingy for a tenner plus postage...I'm happy to oblige.
