A quick one! Anyone know the correct diameter to replace the front ones! Both are u/s on my 2.3 '98 facelift model. I am looking to fit heavy duty ones! I believe they are 20mm without measuring myself Is this correct? Thanks

20mm sounds about right, but couldn't say for absolute certainty without going outside & measuring them. So it looks as though you'll have to go out & have a look for yourself Where do you get HD ones from ?....the only ones I've ever known are the ones that Ford sell for £6.00 each

What powerflex are listing is either wrong or probably for the Granada I've just been out to the shed (that's dedication for you ) & measured my spare anti roll bar & it comes in at just under 22mm. So the bush is most likely about 20mm so it fits very tightly around the bar when the bracket is bolted up. 28mm will be way too big

Just kidding ......good luck, although I reckon you'll be buying them from Ford P.S...don't forget that the roll bar itself may be worn down & pitted where the bush goes around it.....so even brand new bushes will never be as tight a fit as when it came out of the factory

Yes, probably will end up getting them from Henry. It's amazing how few alternative parts were made for these scorpios. At this rate , i will have to manufacture my own spares in a few years

Adam. It IS the granada for which heavy duty bushes are available, they fit on the ENDS of the bar in the track control arms, the Scorpio of course using wishbone set up.Thebushes are solid rather than void,I used to fit them to my Granada hearses and limos. GOZZ
