Rear crankshart oil seal

Had an oil leak from the back of the engine for a while & thought it to be the sump gasket, but on close inspection it would seem not. It's running down over the sump from higher up, which leads me to believe that the rear crankshaft oil seal is the culprit So it's an autobox off job....or is it ? Does snake oil really exist ? .....Bars leak rear main seal repair The car is dropping about 1/2 a litre every 1000 miles, so every time I change the oil at 10K it means buying another gallon to keep it topped up for the next 10K I don't really want to spend what it costs to remove the autobox & replace the rear seal, so I'm prepared to take a chance & try this 'Bars' product. Problem is, the only place I can find it is on Ebay......HERE......& it's from the US with a massive postage charge (I'm not that gullible ). Anyone know where I can buy this stuff in the UK ? ....it's worth a shot

Thanks for that Biz, but I don't think it's worth pursuing Wrote an Email to Bars US yesterday & they've just replied with this quote.... .....'The Rear Main Seal Repair product is currently unavailable in the UK at this time. Sorry for any inconvenience.' Maybe it is snake oil & it's just produced for a gullible American market ? ....might just put some good old trusty 'Wynns stop leak' in the engine & see how it goes
