hiya. could anyone help please? I recently had the pleasure of some teenagers pulling my wing mirror and breaking a lot of the casing. I have a '98 2.3 ultima estate and have been offered a wing mirror from a '94 model. My question is: will it fit as I do not know if they were changed when the Scorpio was face lifted? thanks in advance.

The mirror will fit fine as they are all the same, but make sure it's from another Ultima, as lower spec models don't have the dipping function when you select reverse.

Should be easy to tell though....the dipping mirror has 2 multiplugs, the non-dipping mirror only has one  Smiley

It may still need to be from another Ultima, as Ultimas have memory function which affects the door mirrors.

I'm not entirely sure whether a mirror from a lower spec model will still work with the memory function  Undecided

Maybe someone else can confirm this  Smiley

I thought the dip function was controlled by a module in the car, not by the mirror  Huh
