Door-Open Sensor

Hello all,
I've just replaced the driver's door on my 1997 Ultima estate with one from the scrappy (off a 1995 model), but now find that the door-open warning symbol in the instrument panel is always showing that the door is open - even when it's not.
Where is the door sensor for this? And, if it's faulty, how do I replace it?

The switch is clipped into the back of the lock,but low spec models didn't have the system.
