Wheel Bearing Torque?

Presently I'm starting to equip myself for the preparation of a new project this year the strip down of the Scorpio for some major powder coating. This was an idea I had thanks to both Baz, when he showed me his great looking newly coated air filter pan for his Corsair and Matt with his pictures posted of his paintwork underneath . Needless to say once everything is stripped I will need to replace all the bearings and wondered if the the hub nut on the rear was similar in torque to the Granada i.e. mega tight like 300lb. Had a look on the main site and though it shows the rear replacement I can't find any torque settings. The last time I had a rear wheel bearing done was on the Granada by a garage and the nut was on so tight they had to chisel the nut off and in doing so damaged/marked the hub. This obviously I don't want to happen on the Scorp so I'm currently looking towards possibly obtaining a 3/4 inch torque drive. This actually might also prove to be useful when removing the axle and diff? Any advise please. Mike

Mike. It's 200 lb/ft,and 1/2" drive is quite ample. GOZZ.

Thanks Gozz that's good news as I've already got a 1/2" drive. I'll soon be ready then to start, well I will be as soon as the rest of the other stuff required for project arrives.
