has anyone checked their speedo reading against a sat nav reading? ive used my tom tom in quite a few different cars and the cars speed is usully 5mph faster that the tom tom ie. car reads 70mph tomtom reads 65mph, but in my scorpio the car is reading 10mph above, so do other peoples scorpios read this far out, or is their a problem with my car?

It is fairly standard for speedo's to read up to 10% slow, ie an indicated 70mph is an actual 63mph.

Also bear in mind that a sat nav is always very slightly behind the car/speedo so therefore a slight variance will occur
