Not done it yet but got all the bits Wink

Matt's further on with his I think.

Dont think your transit gearbox will be any good as its too wide for the manifolds/cats and they'd need extended outwards, you'd need an adaptor plate made or sell your soul to the devil and ask for a Transit ambulance V6 adaptor plate Smiley so you need some serious mods to make it work.

At least thats what the Transit guys have to do when fitting the 24v in a Transit, even if you did those mods I dont think it would fit the Scorpio engine bay and your Transit gearbox would be too short.. major work to use it i think but nothing's impossible Cheesy

Normal way to do it is to use the bellhousing off a sierra 2.9 4x4 mated to the rear end of an MT75 box (Scorpio diesel or late 2.3's have the best ratio) that will fit straight onto your 24v block.

You also need

the manual prop,
cosworth clutch,
Sierra/Granada manual Pedal box

and some fancy wiring Wink

Will have a look for some of the old threads

Heres one, older Granada engine but similar

http://www.v6mini.co.uk/

Also been a few done with the YB engine (Sierra/Escort) which I would think would be a better option, theres a lot of weight in these V6's especially for a mini Smiley

Good luck lol

not sure a transit box will work but you never know, if its' a type 9 or mt75 then it should be ok

what do you plan to run the engine on loom wise?

if you use the 2.3 box make sure its the latter type with the same 5th gear ratio as the diesel mt75, its much better,

if you use the scorpio stuff them you'll either need to bypass the pats system or bung in all of the scorpios wiring
