After successfully fitting my wiper linkage, i am ready to have a crack at the boot lock. I have 2 problems. 1) How do i open the boot? remote switch not working and the key does not fit. 2) Any ideas where i can get a new lock / barrel / key from and are all models the same? Mine is a '95 2.9 Ultima. Any help will be most greatfuly received. Thanks Scott

Scott. I can't see any reference Here to the BOOT lock but assume the principle is the same and hopefully someone with more experience will be along to advise. Getting the key read is an important part and it may be that another or new key will open it. The main thing is to persevere with the WD40 as 9 times out of 10 it is corrosion in the barrel which causes the problem. Does the 'plunger' where the key fits press inwards ? as this is often the area which seizes.
