Hi there! Need information about global closing(opening) signals for sunroof motor. http://www.fordscorpio.co.uk/ilsunroof.htm It has two yellow/green and white/green wires for this control, but I very interesting to know what of this two wires makes closing the sunroof and what makes opening. And another one question, what kind of signals controls this function thru those wires (earth, +12V or something else)? Cheers! And sorry for my english mates

priviet! you're on the wrong forum mate this site is about 1994-1998 Scorpio you're using the Granada model {based on your avatar and your website} [yes yes it was also called Scorpio on the continent but in the UK it wasn't] so I don't think anyone here will have sufficient knowledge about your car. Sure it's worth a shot

Not sure about the Granada but i'm pretty sure they will be the same on the Scorpio. This is a better site for the Granada or Scorpio 1 as it was known outside the UK http://www.granada-and-scorpio-online.com/

| Privet! No mate I especial wrote here because the global closing function was only in 94+ Scorpios. And you absolutely right I have two Granny (86 with Cosworth BOA and 92 with Cosworth 2.0 turbo) but I want to install auto closing function on my sunroof when I turning on security system. I've made this with my electric windows but old scorpio sunroof motor have no auto closing function. The sunroof does not see in what position it is before closing but your Scorpios can do it.

Im not sure about the wiring, I know there are multiplex uses on other parts of the Scorpio but whether the sunroof uses this and receives the open/close signal from a module somewhere or just the standard 12v +ve and -ve I have no idea. Multimeter time maybe

Experiment solves all. Have been very surprised, but the global opening/closing controls by constantly applying +12V during opening or closing the roof till the end of it motion. Strange decision. I hoped, that it will be a -ve, and that signal will be not constant, and only an impulse. But also it will be possible to force to work it! Many thanks mates!
