I am about to fit a standard ford cd 6 disc changer to my 2.9 cosworth but am unsure of where it should be. I took it out of an estate (mine's a saloon) where it was fitted in the boot but am lead to believe that it could be fitted under the passenger seat. mine has not got any clues or even wiring for this as it is ex police so never had such luxuries.

My cossie saloon has the cd changer mounted in the boot, on the passenger side, but unlike the estate it is laid flat and not directly behind the rear seat
