air con repair cost?

does any one know roughly what i would be looking to pay to have my condensor, one of the bottome pipes and recharge on my 2.3 ultima, i am getting a quote from the garage i use, but would like an idea if anyone else has had it replaced so i can make sure im not getting ripped off

with new parts?? are they damaged? I'm pretty sure a new condenser was £150 a couple of years back. Kwik fit are doing aircon recharge for £45 so I'd reckon you're looking at £300

thanks for the advice, i would change it my self, but the system needs to be drained first, the will need to be put on a vacume after and recahrged, so i may as well get the garage to do it. also is it best to change the receiver dryer as well whhile they are at it?

| Yes but that'll be done (or should be done) as part of the aircon recharge anyway so dont let them charge a lot for fitting it.
