Leaky sunroof

leaking from where exactly? if it's just the rubber surrounding of the glass, buy some sunroof silicone grease, apply it on it and on the mechanism underneath etc. that should do...

well first try to 'fix' the seal with grease it should help. if it doesn't we'll start worrying

| hi there that's normally the ariel. take out the interior light unit and you will see the ariel bolt. iirc, it's a t30. add some sealant underneath it. hth

tonyboy. The channel inside the sunroof has a drain in each corner with plastic pipes on,the fronts go into the front of the sills,the rears I think come out near the back wheel,they get bunged up and the channel overflows. GOZZ.

Hi all Mine leaked around the sunroof switch so used the coat hanger wire trick then flushed them through with some clean water in a washing up liquid bottle and a piece of rubber hose . Its amazing the rubbish and dirt that can come out Adzs......

Hello. I looked at the ariel and looks like some has pulled it to one side and dented the roof where the ariel goes through. Straightend it out a bit and put some sealant between the ruber seal and the roof. Hope this is cured the leak. Cheers scorpio_man. I'll try and clean my tubes out tomorrow ....

Hello. after sealing the ariel, and it's been raining most of the day, iv'e had no leaks in the car so far. So thanks all for your advice........
