can anyone recemmond a good place to get an aerosol for my car, its medium charcol green. I did get one from a place in harlow called leonard brooks, who mix the paint there, ive used them in the past and the match has always been good, but this time the colour match was terrible. I know there is halfords, but i have never found there paint any good though, any suggestions would be great thanks Lee

If you don't want to pay Ford prices for paint, there's always fleabay Item number: 180299884818 Item number: 190236583400 Item number: 350180251912 I've used the Hycote spray paints before and found them to be very good.

I sprayed a Scorpio rear bumper and used 4 cans of the Hycote branded spray paint to ensure good coverage - you will probably want a couple of cans of lacquer too - Hycote do that as well. Think it is an acrylic paint from memory.

Andrew, r u saying that you can get a can of the appropriate paint for the car from FMD? I'm looking for a way to do a cheap respray on my car. And if I can get the paint in aerosol from Ford it would make things so much easier as I can polish the whole thing and fix all rusty bits myself but never thought I can get the paint in aerosol from FMD... In that case I could respray the worst bits myself and than just cover it with the colourless paint... Any idea how much would a can of paint from FMD cost?
