Torx Size For CV Removal

HI All Does anyone know what size Torx bit is needed to remove the CV joints on a 24V Scorpio? Cheers Colin

Colin, the flange on the 24v drive pinion is 108mm, the 16v's use a 100mm one and they are interchangeable, just in case you need some more clearance.

Thanks, you are a mine of useful information, I don't have clearance issues but I did need to have the drivers side driveshaft shortened by about 5mm. If I can use the 16V ones I may not need to. Cheers Colin PS: I have another couple of really good technical questions to test your Scorpio knowledge, I'll post them this evening.

I think it's a T-45 - I just checked on a spare driveshaft.
