Scorpio MOT failed

It's been sat for 6 years only failed on rear discs and pads how chuffed am I. Anyway what I was going to ask is how easy are the rear brakes to do?

| Very easy: http://www.fordscorpio.co.uk/frontrearbrakes.htm The worst part in my case was seized caliper bracket bolts. It's a good idea to loosen and retorque at the same time you do tire change (annually or so). I believe the guide says those particular bolts should be as tight as possible, but all diagrams I've seen say 56Nm (= less than a wheel nut).

Use some threadlock on the caliper bracket bolts & just nick 'em up tight as you can with a 13mm socket or spanner You may need a breaker bar to get them off with though
