What does o/d button do? I know it stands for overdrive. It's in side of gearstick. What happens when it's pressed?

As wojtekor says it switches off 4th gear . . . If your driving around town or say in haevy traffic instead of the car going from 3rd to 4th to 3rd back to 4th etc it will stay in 3rd (edit will also use 1st and 2nd 3rd but not 4th) HTH Gazza

Whats its really for is accelerating fast!! By disabling top gear it allows you to accelerate right up to the rev limit without dropping speed by changing up a gear... You'll still be able to do a good top speed in 3rd without going into top gear, the 24v (and probably the other autos can still hit 80mph in 2nd) Once you reach the speed you want to be at just press the button again and top gear will kick in. If you combine this with the Sport mode you will have the car set for maximum acceleration
