Looks good Gazza, unfortunately, if I were to install a real CCTV system in the car, my licensing authority insist that it has to have a sealed recorder that only them & the police are allowed access to....something to do with the data protection act  Roll Eyes

We all know there is cctv cameras in and around towns and is used in evidence in court . . .

Now how many of you watch the Cops on tv

Street crime on BRAVO
Road wars on Sky 2

Now when the villan gets anoyed with the camera man and starts shouting the police say its ok he is in a public place and can record it ?
and then they say when the footage was used in court Joe Blogs lost his licence and was found £xxx pounds

So if I was you I would deffo get one . .
I Still might get one you never know  Wink

I know what you mean Gazza, daft isn't it  Roll Eyes  But when I questioned the councils policy, they said that if the recorder wasn't sealed then in theory I could go home & watch it & according to the data protection act, this is a no-no......Could also be considered to be voyeurism apparently  Huh

Could someone tell me if alarm shoud sound when  I close the car from remote (single lock) and open the door through the opened window?
My car doesn't sound. But I remember, that it used to sound when i opened the boot of locked car by the key. If i doublelock the car - I can't open it even form inside, and can't open boot by the key.

Thanks

thats what its for to watch it. .  and if used in court some one else will watch it  Roll Eyes

cctv in shops for the thief's yea some one will watch it and there will be innocent people on it as well

All the people who use cameras / cctv can be used in a court of law. . .

Thanks for that Gazza.......I've done a little investigating & have found out that the law has changed regarding CCTV in taxi's. A sealed recorder is longer required & it has now been put in the same catagory as CCTV outside your frontdoor etc, so can be viewed  Smiley....I'll be speaking to the carriage officer shortly about it  Wink

Ivan...yes, the alarm should sound if you single lock it with a window open & then try to open it with the inner handle....mine does.........& if you double lock it, then you shouldn't be able to open the door with the inner handle, it prevents someone from opening it by sliding something inside the door  Smiley

Thanks , Jonny!
Will check wiring diagrams to know what to look for. Any most known issues (faulty beeper, relay, loom, etc.)?

Today tok a look at the beeper - hitting it with a metal stick and ajusting the tuning screw made it alive (I think it just became rusty during the winter).
So my car beeps when I open it in an "unauthorized" way.
But it doesn not flash!
Should the car flash (I mean hazard indicators) when alarm is working?

Jonny, I know, but my did always flash after doublelock. And I suppose it should flash o alarm (i just don't remember - have seen my car in alarm state only twice or so). It stopped flashin on doublelock after the 4 months of staying on open air in winter (battery totally died).
