Coil springs

Can anyone confirm: I believe the biggest difference between coil springs for self-levelled and standard saloons is in the number of "turns". The springs for the self levelled saloon appear to have 5 and a half turn, where some seem to be 6 and a half turns. Haven't found out the other parameters for the 6,5 turn version, but assume the wire strength is the same or slightly ( <1mm) more. OR, could it bee that the 6,5 turn version is heavy duty saloon springs?

My new heavy duty springs have about half a turn more than the old standard ones & the coil is thicker as well
