In the ford catalogues, yes. It was the only other one that had the same finis.

Ive tried this as well with the relay, doesn't work at the moment ,but on the circuit diagram it looks like you have to make a link in the fuse box, called 'country code bus bar' for it to work, i dont know how to do this, anyone?
cheers,phil.

I tried to "skip" country code bus bar and made a wire to connect battery(+) to relay pin 30.. Nothing changed..

Have you checked both when light switch is both in on and off positions? For example (not sure if all are like this) on mine headlights are on only if the engine is running (parking light remain on when engine is shut off), and that is without the relay (haven't got mine from Ford yet).

yes..

I think it should work when switch is turned off, because warning bell yells if you open door and lights switch is turned on.

Btw, there is one "link bar" next to relay 14..

It has constant +12V

This diagram discusses a fuse nr. F18. Do you have one there?

And the relay coil R7? Is that one there as well?

Fuse F18 is in place, but
Relay R7 is missing in my fusebox

Anyone know which relay it needs?

According to the manual, this relay (R7) would be fitted to UK only, called "dim/dip light". Any ideas what this does for the UK cars, it's not installed on mine either. Finis 6534361? Relay of type A.

"dim-dip device operates the low beam headlamps (called "dipped beam" in the UK) at between 10 percent and 20 percent of normal low-beam intensity when the position lamps are switched on."

dim/dip = same as these automatical daylight running lights that we're trying to get working?

Not necessarily, as daylight running lights can operate on full power up here in the nordic countries. A picture of a nordic driver's side (main) fusebox with factory installed deaylight running lights would be valuable right now, to see all bridges etc. as they should be.

I don't know what is wrong with Ford spare supply chain nowadays. Been waiting for some small parts for soon a month, some of them even for Escort. So nothing yet.

Do you have something in R7 and is there metallic clip used as bridge in your fusebox? PLEEEAAASEE, would be VERY nice to get this feature working  Roll Eyes
