Oh well, the good thing though is that the previous one is a lot more easy to find around our corners. I'll post the progress on the part hunt as soon as I know more.

In german NSW means Nebelscheinwerfer or fog lights. NSL is Nebel-Schluß-Leuchte (the rear red foglight).

If you mean the one thay sell for £14, it not going to work, it's for led lights that kinda resemble foglights, inside there is just a relay despite the patent label on it. It can be done with two relays (did it once on a Golf mk3), but it's better to do it without jumpwires and additional unsupported methods.

tlundkvi,i just saw the ad as i have used 'car builder solutions ' in the past, it would of course be up to the buyer of the kit to be sure thats the kit he wants and its for the job he wanted it for Smiley

Hi All
Have looked at the autodata diagram for daytime running lights (which i can only find on the LHD diagrams) and according to the diagram it appears that there are four wires missing if the system was never fitted as standard. So i can only assume that fitting a relay in the right place will have no effect. A far as i can see on the diagram the relay needs a a connection from fuse 16 via the headlamp switch on pin 30. a connection on 86 from fuse 15 then 85 has a connection to the combination swith (what ever that is ) at pin 2 and 87a has a connection to fuse 4 via pins 85 on both low beam relays. I have not had time to look on the car yet to see if any of these connections are in place in my fusebox. If anyone has any ideas please post them. This problem seems to be a lot more complex than first thought
 Huh

Thanks for the info, very nice!

It could be that these connections are handled by the busbar B discussed earlier. I checked with some breakers in Sweden (where original Swedish variants had it as standard), they seem to offer some fuseboxes around 700-800 SEK (around 70-80 euros).  But those will be stripped from anything looking more valuable than a fuse Smiley.

I've seen a variant of "B" but hopefully I'll find out the tech. number soon of the scandinavian variant so I can order one and try it out.

okay

When I put to 'P', only left side parking light (front+rear) are working. and When 1 step to other side from 0, both parking lights (front+rear) are working. Is that how it should be?
