Hi can you help with this, the car is a 2.3 Auto If you look at the heat shield you will notice two 8mm steel tubes sticking out attached to these are are thick walled hoses similar to fuel lines that lead to box just to the right and in front of the top suspension n/s I do not know what this box is called (Sorry) well the top hose had perished very badly and was allowing exhaust gases to escape and the bottom simply was not there any longer? I went along to my local Hydraulics Firm and were able to supply the correct size hose and I have replaced but can you tell me what are they there for Thanks Kenboy
