Dave. I don't know the temp,but none of mine ever come on at full speed unless the aircon is on,no matter how hot the ambient temp.The slow speed is always sufficient even when doing funeral speed. GOZZ.

Probably of little use as it's the wrong car and the wrong fan speed The reading I have from OBD for my 2.3 is: Low speed fan on at 210F Off at 202F the temp gauge was in the middle You can test that the fans are capable of running at high speed via OBD, in the enhanced page of the test tab. I find this page can be a bit flaky, you may have to try a couple of times & wait a bit for anything to happen.
