Drive belt for charger

Short question,
The fiche lists the charger etc. drive belt should be 1380mm long for the 24V. Corresponding belt for 12V is 1415mm (also for the mk3 cossie), otherwise the same. Hence, many factors list the 1415mm for the 24V. There's quite a difference in price (here it is 13 euro vs. 34 euro for oem). Will the tensioner be able to adjust to take up 35mm "extra" slack in addition to normal slackening? Anyone tried?

There also seems to be a 6 rib x 1400mm off the shelf, obviously for another car. Probably better, only 2cm too long.

Does anyone know if the tensioner can handle this 2cm extra slack? Finding the 1380mm belt - even without respect to cost - seems difficult.

Not sure, but if they list the longer one for the BOB engine and its wrong just buy one, try it and send it back if it doesnt fit
