Where to buy chrome tirehousing lists?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EbSo8vhOaog&feature=fvw On this vid. I see chrome lists above the tires. Does someone know where i can get a hold of these? They look slick, i really like them. And they will cover up the rust thats starting there. My plans where to remove the rust with a steelbrush and sandblower (if thats the English word fir it;)) and cover the metal with rust protection, and after this cover over with these chrome lists.

That's standard on the pre-facelift 95-97. Gives grace time to fix rusty wheelarches as well. You could buy them from a breaker, won't cost much to deliver abroad either. I'd suppose they can be fitted to the facelift as well.

| Somebody might have removed them, it's quite possible if the arches are rusty from before (if for example one fell off), I'm pretty sure they were standard. Ford dealer can be quite expensive, if even available anymore. You could put a query on parts wanted, someone will probably have an extra set. Oops, thought it were these (click to magnify):

| They are called "Chrome wheel arch trims" Another point to remember if you fit these, they are a water/moisture trap and will accelerate rusting on the wheel arches if not removed and the area cleaned periodically.

They 'stick on' then eh Rodders not a very clever idea eh ? as you quite rightly say rusting will be accelerated then they will blow of into some poor sod's pushbike spokes GOZZ.

Yo, Scorpio Man, when you say the Granada ones can be modified what has to be done? I reckon if you sand the chrome off a spray in satin black, or similar, that would be more pleasing to the eye

Yeah, like a kind of arch kit you used to get on the jelly mold Cossies or Mk2 RS Turbos. I thought about these whe I was looking at the bubbly arches on my Scorpio - in the end I got the arches sanded, lead filled and sprayed for about the same cost as the good quality stainless arches.

Great thread. But when they say granada wheel arch. Do they mean Scorpio 85-92? Or do they mean granada 72-85?
