there is a silver scorpio for sale on ebay , the seller is selling for spares or repair because it runs for 20 minutes then stops and wont start again for another 20 mins or so , what could that be ? seems a nice car other than that

Rich. Whatever it is it can be sorted,a scan should reveal the problem,maybe just a sensor on the blink.The main things to worry about which could involve big cash are engine,gearbox ,and body rot,followed by rear hubs and brake calipers. GOZZ.

Alister had a similar problem, turned out to be wiring between the EDIS and the ECU.. started ok ran a while then cut out, but his wouldnt start for hours.. wont be much, finding it is the problem

Is it this one HERE ? If so, then it sounds like the fuel cut off loom (engine loom) could be shot ....Could also be something simple like an overheating fuel pump relay
