Is there any other screws than 4 small hex bolts for detaching rear bumber?
I tried to screw them out but they were VERY tight  Angry

You were lucky to get them out in one piece, they usually shear off  (same set up as the MKIII, been there, done that, used the swear words)

If you have the kit you could always try welding a nut on the the stud. The heat would probably help Wink

Watch out for the fuel tank though

My old S Reg (red one) had proper bolts in place of the hex head ones. One owner from new apart fro me and the original owner had never replaced them!! Never got them out on S29COS though as it had hex ones!
