Trip meter change to Miles/Gall

Silly me left an Interior light on over the weekend (slaps self across face)and of course the battery went rather low so as not to start the car(slaps self across face again)
The trip meter changed itself from Miles/Gall to Km/L can someone please advice me of the sequence of button presses to get it back to Miles/Gall.
I have seen the procedure somewhere on here before but for the life of me I can't find it now when I need it. 
Anyone who feels I need another slap please form a queue over there > > >

Normally you would just press the S button. But someone on here said ( can't remember who ) But said that pressing the S and R buttons together also does it......... !!!! SLAP, SLAP, !!!!

hi there
that would be me!
anyway, to my point.
your light should only have stayed on for 20 minutes or so as the battery saver should have kicked in.
something you should check out.

Checked out the battery saver today.
After 20 min's
Front & centre interior lights go out
Estate load light stays on when switched to constant on. (that's the one I forgot to switch off)
Cigar lighter stays on. (sat nav connected)
Parking lights stay on. (switch to the left)
After 1 hr (with no key in Ign)
Radio turns off

And if you still can't change the setting, try to perform instrument panel reset.

My Scorp does not let me to change the setting either by pressing S or S and R. But - I just happened to notice this - after a reset S button will change the setting between miles and metrics. Sometimes it works for weeks after reset, sometimes only couple of days.
Who knows why...
