Should I replace it???

Hi (again),

Looking deeply into Owners Handbook for my other question (ISOFIX) I've found that FORD recommends to replace Airbag after 15 years (http://www.fordscorpio.co.uk/images/handbook080.gif).

So, If my beloved Scorpio was manufactured in 1995....wait..1995 + 15 = 2010 Smiley Smiley Smiley..

So, the question is, Should I go as fast as possible to a FORD technical service and make my air bag revised/replacedHuh
How much does it cost (average)Huh Is it a regular procedure or my Scorpio integrity will be in danger??

I'm putting my wife and myself into a risk if I do not replace itHuh

Thanks in advance

Best regards

never heard anyone replace them yet, they would likely be expensive and the spares Ford have left will likely be passed their sell by date too...

They dont always go off anyway so I wouldnt think you are at any more risk having an old one.

We reckon this may be the Governments next move to get old cars off the road, by making it illegal to drive a car with an expired airbag... watch this space....
