Gear shift rod clips.

On the A4LDE autobox there is an aluminium relay lever on the left side fitted to an aluminium bracket, they are held together by a clip on the end of the shaft, the clip is neither shown or mentioned on Ford's computer. However Iveco part number 17499074 is the same and available. The rod from the gear lever is held on to the top of the relay lever by a similar but much smaller clip Ford 6177341 which is the one that usually falls off causing loss of gear selection.Having read on here in the past of difficulty obtaining the large clip,it seemed time to unearth an alternative. Hey Gozz, that is really good detective work. I hope I never have the problem, but I'll be remmbering this one! In about 2-3 years time, someone on here, (aye probably me) will be thinking, "I remember something about these bloody clips, and them still being available"!
